How it works

Three dice, each with six faces in six colours, are rolled. You bet on one or more colours. If one die shows your colour you win 1:1, two dice 2:1, three dice 3:1 under the common perya rules (online payouts vary, so read the table rules).

The odds (maths)

Each die shows your colour with probability 1/6. The chance that at least one of three dice shows it is 1 − (5/6)³ = about 42.1%. Assuming 1:1 / 2:1 / 3:1 payouts (the common perya rules; an assumption, not any operator's published payout), the expected return on a ₱100 single-colour bet works out to about ₱92.1, a house edge of roughly 7.9%. That is far higher than many casino table games, and betting more colours does not remove it.

Every outcome of a single-colour bet

More than half of the time a single-colour bet loses. The long-run return is about 92.1% of what you stake.

What if I bet on several colours?

It does not remove the edge. Invented example: put ₱10 on each of all six colours (₱60 total). If the three dice show three different colours (120/216 of the time) you get back ₱60, which is break-even. If two dice match (90/216) you get back ₱50, and if all three match (6/216) you get back ₱40. The average return is about ₱55.3 on ₱60, the same roughly 7.9% edge. Betting more colours makes each round's result smaller in both directions, but you still lose about 7.9% of everything you stake.

Perya, Facebook and apps

The in-person perya color game is run under local rules; online versions vary. A color game stream or "agent" on social media is a red flag: PAGCOR warned in July 2025 that livestreamed gambling on social media is likely illegal. Among PAGCOR's lists, only a licensed casino that prints Live Color Games (table below) is something we can point to, and we have not tested it.
